Rotork is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of industrial valve actuation and flow control equipment. With over 2,300 employees and 350 offices worldwide, Rotork was looking to scale their ERP system on a global level with added field service and manufacturing capabilities. "We are in some very unique places that organizations don’t traditionally extend their ERP systems to," says Phil Wood, CIO, Rotork. "Working with us centrally to define the development solution to deploy was very important. HSO were and are still are uniquely placed with an international focus on global projects such as ours."
HSO partnered with Rotork to implement Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and since that time, Rotork’s IT capabilities have grown considerably. Today, Rotork is in the process of going live across 25 factories for manufacturing, with the first factory on AX2012. Once that factory is live, they intend to move the configuration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and roll-out the new solution on a global level with added capability.
"In every project such as this there are things that go wrong as well as great successes. Not every partner has got the stamina or the long-term vision to make this happen. HSO have done that. Whatever the problems have been, we’ve been able to resolve them and we’re able to plan the future together.” - Phil Wood, CIO, Rotork
